As we near the winter holidays, and as we begin to see more and more snow on the ground, there is one thing to keep in mind:

The flu season began quietly without much commotion in early October of this year, and has shifted into peak season in December. Children and the elderly are the most vulnerable to the flu while adults tend to cope a bit better. The flu can quickly take its toll; coughs, headaches, sore throats, fevers and a general lack of strength are all common symptoms of the flu. These symptoms can be reduced and controlled with treatments and medication. Acupuncture and cupping are some of the most effective methods in relieving these symptoms.
